MEET THE TEAM BIOS:

S. David & Debby Plummer
OWNERS

Married in November 1970, David & Debby Plummer started their life together. While in Graduate School Mr. Plummer wrote a Masters Thesis on the Equine Industry. After graduation, David & Debby agreed that with their knowledge and passion for the horse business, that was their future. In 1973, they purchased their first horse. From that time to this, Mr. Plummer has been one of the nation’s leading businessmen in the horse industry. Debby was a city gal who never even owned a pet when she married David. Debby has been involved in most aspects of the horse business. Weighing 110 lbs. she helped break and gallop their first race horses. Debby was the stallion handler the first year they stood stallions; she cleaned stalls, fed horses and hauled horses around the nation. For 25 years she was the Chief Financial Officer of their business. The Plummer Family has built one of the most successful horse businesses in the world. All five children are involved in some aspect of their horse business, and the Plummer family now includes 13 grandchildren.

Tiffany DeMarco
VETERINARY ASSISTANT

This is Tiffany DeMarco’s third year with Buffalo Ranch. She has always had a love for horses and dreamed of working with them. She purchased her first horse at age twelve and has been involved since then. During her junior year of high school, she interned with a reiner who taught her many techniques. After graduating early, at the end of her junior year, she continued her internship and even began training two-year-olds on her own. While working one of these horses at a local arena, she was approached and recruited by a cutting horse trainer. This began her experience with Buffalo Ranch. Her first position with the ranch included starting two-year-olds, loping horses, and traveling for shows. As she became more experienced, yearlings, weanlings, and sale prep were put in her care. When breeding season began, and the vets needed assistance, she eagerly jumped at the opportunity to expand her knowledge. She fell in love with the position and admires her successful co-workers. She has been there ever since and looks forward to many more years.
