Kim Gardner - Breeding Manager

is an expert in her field of equine reproduction. In her career she has successfully bred over 8,000 mares. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician receiving her BS at Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in Veterinary Technology. She also received her MS from BYU in Animal Science with an emphasis in Nutrition. Kim is experienced and is an expert in her field. We are thrilled to have Kim as a member of our team.

Alexis Stephas - Stallion & Marketing Manager

joined the team in 2017, first as a stallion owner, then as the stallion manager and has now extended her role to the marketing side of SDP Buffalo Ranch. Originally from Tennessee, Alexis moved to Texas to be closer to the action in the cutting horse arena. She has nearly $750k in lifetime earnings and multiple World & National Championships as a showman. She has also represented the USA in the USA/Australia Non Pro Challenge and brings her experience from the industry to help grow & promote every stallion.

Frank Sigala - Ranch Manager

started at SDP Buffalo Ranch in 2018 and quickly became an essential member of the team, day in & day out. Frank is originally from Venezuela and moved to Texas in 2008. He was raised around horses, competing in multiple events. He found his true passion in cutting, winning the 2013 Breeders Invitational Classic Non Pro aboard I C Hi Stars. Frank is a TCU graduate with a bachelors degree in Arts & Communication Studies. Outside of his role at SDP Buffalo Ranch, he continues to ride cutting horses and enjoys training them from the start.

Christian Miller - Head Trainer

has been a part of the SDP Buffalo Ranch team for a combined 5 years. He started as the assistant trainer for Paul Hansma and rejoined the ranch in 2019 as the head trainer. Christian grew up in Georgia and was in the cutting horse world before he could walk. He won a long list of achievements as a Youth, Non Pro & Amateur and now an even longer list as an Open Rider. He has been an Open Champion in multiple events, including the Abilene Spectacular, Super Stakes & Summer Spectacular, and has over $500k in lifetime earnings. Christian Miller accepts Non Pro & Amateur riders of all levels.
